We close for the Easter Holidays after school finished on Friday March 30th, and class begins again at 9am on Monday April 16th. The picture used here was taken by Transition Year Multimedia students.

The Student Council have recently received more funds in aid of their much needed defibrillator. We would like to thank both Sonia Leonard of Ard Rialla-O’Donohue Irish Dancing School and the Leaving Certificate Class of 2011 for their generous donations to this cause. Their help is much appreciated.

Today was the Annual Charity Bake Sale organised by the Student Council. Thanks to all the students who baked for the event, and those who queued at lunchtime to support the event. You donated over 1000 Euro to the Student Council Charity fund, an amazing achievement.

Well done to athlete Clodagh O’Reilly (2nd Yr) who is our new All Ireland Champion. To quote the report in Athletics Ireland, she “cruised to victory”, beating a field of 80 runners from all over Ireland last weekend at St Mary’s College, Galway in the Aviva All Ireland Schools’ Cross Country Championships.
