The school is closing today for the Easter break and we would like to wish the school community a “Happy Easter”.   Below is a photograph of some Easter treats baked by Ms. Mc Cormack’s second year Home Economics class.   

 

Well done to our Parents’ Association who recently raised €7,000 by organising a very successful “Tea Party” and the annual Easter raffle.  Below are photographs of the tea party held in the concert hall.  A huge “thank you” to everyone who supported these events.

Sixth year Agricultural Science students attended The Ploughing Championships recently in Tullamore, Co. Offally along with their teachers Mrs Murphy and Ms Farrell.  Students had the opportunity to gather information relating to their Leaving Certificate Agricultural Science project. The book will be officially launched in the school next Sunday November 10th, and will be available to purchase from all Cavan bookstores – Easons, Crannóg and Cavan Gifts.
