In recent months a number of Transition Year students participated in a GAA Coaching Course.  The aim of the course was to promote Gaelic Football among young girls and to equip the TY students with the skills to coach GAA to underage female teams.  Sheena Mc Nally, Ulster LGFA Development Officer, visited Loreto to deliver the training day and prepare the TYs for the module.  The TY students then visited local primary schools over the course of three weeks to coach 5th and 6th class female students.  This training culminated in a Primary School Blitz Day which took place on May 15th at the 3G Breffni Park, Cavan.  A great day was had by all.
