Enterprise Education is again on a high in our school – Ms Dolan reports on her student teams recent successes:

County Cavan Student Enterprise Awards 2014 were held recently, the following teams were awarded prizes. All three winning teams will go forward to the National Finals in Croke Park on April 2nd, and we wish them further success there.

Junior Category, 2nd prize:
Team “Tweety” – Amie Gardiner, Fiona Galligan and Lauren Smith
Junior Category, 1st Prize:
Team “Compost Me” – Clare Young, Nikki Sherlock and Emma McDwyer

Intermediate Category, Innovation Award:
“Colour it” – Tara Watters
Intermediate Category, 3rd Prize:
Team “The Auld Bag” – Amy Rodgers and Gabriella Szafraniec
Intermediate Category, 1st Prize:
Team “Short’n it” – Rebecca Tully, Victoria Murphy-Boyle, Vera Petkovska and Clodagh Lee Flood

Senior Category, 1st Prize
Team “Bee Happy, Bee Healthy” – รine Brady, Geraldine Smith, Ashling Creegan and Sarah Young

jai.logoMeanwhile at the Junior Achievement Competition for Transition Years students, Loreto was represented by three companies – “Bee Happy, Bee Healthy”, “Light It Up” and “Treats Boutique”. The team chosen to go forward in May to represent the Cavan/Monaghan/Louth region in the National Finals in CitiBank, Dublin were:
Team “Treats Boutique” – Clodagh O’Reilly, รine McDermott, Laura Emmo, Niamh Hales and Helena Fitzpatrick.
