October 25th saw the Class of 1993 (St Denis, St Damian, St Donat and St Dominic), led by Head Prefect Lorraine Dunne (pictured below cutting the cake), return to the school for a reunion. They were welcomed by Ms McGarvey, Mrs Ó’Mórdha, Mrs McMonagle (Head of Year 1993) and Ms Amond (Class Tutor St Damian). First there had a tour of the school, commenting on what had and had not changed, and then were treated to a celebration cake. After that there was Mass in St Clare’s Chapel in town, celebrated by Chaplain Fr Kevin Fay. Departed colleagues and friends, as well as those families of students and staff currently experiencing sorrow, were remembered in the prayers. The evening went on in the Thomas Ashe, where the group was delighted to be joined by Mr Pat ‘Pop’ Plunkett.
