Mrs Murphy’s Biology class made 3-D models to help us explain the internal structure of a plant. A lot of thought and effort went in to designing our models, and we learned a lot in the process…see some of our thoughts below.
“After completing my project for plant biology, I learned a lot about the structure of a plant. I now understand better the plany diagrams and I can visualise more clearly the structure of the stem which will be helpful for my exams”
“I thoroughly enjoyed making these models as I feel I learn best by visuals. All of the models were both colourful and eye-catching”
“I found taking part in the construction of the plant models very beneficial as it is quite a complex chapter. This allowed me to get a better understanding of the different sections of the plant and helped me get a better grasp of the chapter. I also won a prize which was an added bonus”
