On the 26th of September Senior Cycle science students attended a Forensics Workshop ‘A Case of Conspiracy’ carried out by Education Interactive. This workshop us entailed solving a real life crime. We solved the crime by studying the various pieces of evidence that we were presented with such as fingerprints analysis, DNA profiles, ballistics Information, Human Anatomy and Autopsy. With a little team work the crime was solved and the murderer revealed.
This workshop was a very enjoyable experience and we gained an insight into problem solving and the world of forensic science. For us it was another enjoyable day in TY!
