On the 31st of August our TY classes got the opportunity to visit Lough Key to have fun and bond as a year. When we arrived we all lined up to get our harnesses and gloves. We then set of to get the run of what was entailed for the day.
There were four courses you could experience each at different levels. While Athena took the challenge of the Blue course which was the highest, Apollo decided to pace themselves and start off small, However by the end of the day we all had experienced both courses which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Flying down the zip lines and crossing the rickety bridges was just one of the many thrilling activities Lough Key had to offer.
Taking into account the sore arms and few bruises all in all it was an unforgettable day. We all would definitely go back and do it all again.
