Concern debates

This is the season for the Concern Debates, Concern’s flagship school activity. This week our team of Emer, Lisa, Raja and Yvette went to Moyne Community School with their coach Ms McGlade and a small group of suporters. The topic being debated was that “Africa’s growing population is preventing its development”. The chief judge was full of praise for the level of debating from both teams, and declared the winners (by a very narrow margin) to be the Moyne CS team – James, Maria, Stephen and Brian. Best wishes to moyne as they progress to the next rounds of the competition.
