Yesterday the two TY classes Europa and Hibernia took part in a Music workshop with musical director Sue Donohoe and her six students from Cavan Institute. We took part in many activities and voice techniques with the students and each game had a different music skill. For example we had to list artist and bands according to the letters in the alphabet and if we couldn’t think of one we had to sit out till there was a winner; there was a rhythm game where we had to clap out the different notes and we also learnt a song in the Gahanna language. It was a brilliant day and we all really enjoyed the workshop, getting an insight into the different aspects of music they are studying in college, and we would love for them to come back.
