Lauren Freehill and Aislinn Tierney (TY Monnet) write:
On Thursday of exchange week the Dutch students and Loreto TYs headed off to Dublin for the day! The bus was filled with friendly banter and our very own lively class of Monnet provided the “ceol agus craic” factor for our guests. We arrived at Trinity College Dublin and after grabbing a bite to eat we started off on our short walk to board “The Viking Splash Tour Express!”. The trip was most enjoyable for both Loreto and RSG ‘t Rijks students, as we saw parts of Dublin we never knew even existed.
And after our Viking antics and a trip to the Guinness Hopstore, a day of shopping, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and general irish craic on the streets took its course!
Overall it was a highly enjoyable, unforgettable, eventful and emotional day for us – agus chun na firinne a ra ní dheanfaimid dearmaid go deo an lá!

All girls Brandon, 720 of us! When the students from our partner schools in other countries visit there are some boys, but not many. Mostly it is just all girls.

An all girl school…? I’m a girl myself and go to a public boy/girl school in Marshall. How does it feel just to be around all girls in school? Do youall have male and female teachers there??
