Head Prefect Kate McNally writes:
January 24th-28th marks out annual Friendship Week. In preparation, the Friendship Committee organised many activities for the week. These include a play from a visiting drama group, Friendship themed Pastoral Care lessons, and encouraging all classes to write their own Friendship slogan.
We organised for a spiritual reflection to be read over the intercom each morning. Members of our Student Council volunteered to broadcast a Friendship poem each day, and we allocated time for a song on the theme of Friendship to be played each evening.
The main aim of Friendship Week is to promote Friendship and encourage students to consider the importance of Friendship. Overall the week was a success and we feel all our aims were achieved.
Kate McNally (Head Prefect, 6th Year).
